Grandma's Strawberry Cream Pie

  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 c whipped cream
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • graham cracker crust
  • 3 oz 4 serving strawberry gelatin
  • 3.4 oz 4 serving vanilla pudding (instant or cook and serve is fine)
  • 1 1/4 c water
  • 2 c diced strawberries


  • Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar with a rubber spatula in a medium bowl until well blended.
  • Stir in the whipped cream.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the pie crust and refrigerate.
  • Place the gelatin, pudding, and water in a medium saucepan and whisk together until smooth.
  • Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
  • Remove it from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the strawberries.
  • Pour or spoon the mixture over the creamy pie filling.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours before serving.
