We’ve been given a very special gift this year - the gift of an extra day. It’s a leap year, so February has 29 rather than 28 days. In celebration of extra time, we’re hosting a knit-along/crochet-along - Leap Into Spring!
To Participate:
Start a new knit or crochet project that is inspired by the Spring season. Perhaps it’s the color of new crocus flowers, or is light and airy to use in the spring, or the pattern name has a reference to something having to do with this season? Have fun finding the perfect knit or crochet spring project for you, then:
Join our Ravelry Group and post your intended project in the Leap into Spring KAL/CAL thread anytime on or after Feb 14, 2012
To be eligible for prizes, your project must be completed by March 31st, 2012 and posted in the finished item thread with a photograph of the finished object.
We have a gorgeous prize package for a randomly selected winner:
A set of three lovely, leafy Stitch Markers donated by Spindle Cat Studio, crafted from emerald green leaf beads and copper wire. A large copper stitch marker that opens, perfect for crochet projects, is also part of this set.
