Crafty Friend Dollmaker – Correna!

Correna sent me an email to ask me for a small favor – to get something for her from Greece. It was easily done and I was reimbursed properly, but being the giving person she is, Correna wasn’t satisfied with that. She wanted to share her skill with me in exchange for my trouble, Though it was no trouble, really! So Correna sent me a new friend, Annie:

Raggedy Ann DollmakerI’ll admit something now. When Correna told me she hand-makes dolls and said she was sending her, I thought that I’d give her to my youngest Grandgirl, Ivy. But when she arrived, I was just so utterly charmed by my new little button eyed friend that I realized I wasn’t ready to let her go. The details are so perfect: red trimmed pantaloons and even a little heart stitched in the perfect spot.

Dollmaker Annie is a perfect little crafty companion. She sits beside my easy chair and keeps me company while I knit. She listens  to my chit chat, always offering a good natured smile.

Correna DollmakerI told Correna that when Annie debuted here on the site, other Crafty Friends might want one of their own, so I asked her if she’d be willing to take special orders and she said she’d enjoy making some more Annie’s. I’m just delighted with mine.

Thank you again Correna! ♥
